"It's okay honey. Don't worry, I'll make your favorite to make you feel better"

Re-ment Bento

One of my favorite re-ment piece is the bento box from the Happiness Recipe set.

"Looks yummy, never mind I don't have fingers to hold the chopsticks.."

Let's look closely.. ahh so cute!

 After a satisfying lunch, Mr. Bear came home and got a shock of his life...

 "A..a..a...giant..purple..dog? No! Don't eat my babies!!"

Don't worry Mr. Bear, Violet is not going to eat your babies, she's just playing with them.

My first Re-ment

I love miniature food. The time, effort and love that goes to making one is fascinating to me. Someday when I don't have to work for real food I will make fake food! But for now I will just admire them. Anyway, I want to dedicate this post to Nunu's House, If you're reading this.. i just wanted to say.. please adopt me! I love your work they are so beautiful. My favorite would be the breads. Looks so delicious. Amazing.

Back to reality. Re-ment became locally available only last year and I just discovered it last month. Imagine my frustration when they only sell Disney stuff. Ho well. I'm still glad they have these amazing cakes. I panicked and bought the whole set.

ha! my first mini scene

I just recently discovered the world of modern miniatures and I'm hooked! When I was a little girl I had so much fun making doll houses out of shoe boxes with cardboard furniture and paper dolls so imagine my surprise when I found out they make modern furniture and doll houses I can't believe it! How come I only knew this today and how come I'm poor.. haha! Anyways, I frantically searched the internet where I can buy Reac chairs, Re-ment and other miniatures of course I have to consider my purchasing power also (or what we call here "Peso-Power" which is close to none. Thanks to mastercard I was able to buy a few.. so presenting my first scene.. tadaa!

and some close-up shots like the pros do ;) The paintings are from a local artist which I resized and printed. Me bad. I hope she doesn't mind ^^;

I don't have a doll house yet.. (i'm hopeful) so guess where i put them.....

in our bookshelf of course! my calvin and hobbes books have to stay on the table below temporarily :)
